Teak Tub Capping

Our wooden Capping is the perfect accessory for both new and old tubs alike. The Capping is placed on top of your hot tub along the rim of it to protect your end grain. With all wooden hot tubs, the first thing to start deteriorating is going to be the end grain.
They are placed onto the top of your tub using silicone and can be knocked back off with a hit from a mallet. Capping can be replaced easily in the future to give you a nice clean look for the entire lifespan of your hot tub. If your tub has an already deteriorated end grain, the bad end grain will either need to be filled in to create a new flat solid bonding surface or the top of the tub will need to be cut off. The cap will add 7/8" to the height of your tub.

Tub Capping adds an additional 1" to the diameter of your tub.
